Here are some of the biggest fights in NBA history:
The "Malice at the Palace" - This was the most notorious fight in NBA history, which took place on November 19, 2004, between the Indiana Pacers and the Detroit Pistons. It started when Pacers player Ron Artest (now known as Metta World Peace) fouled Pistons player Ben Wallace, and a melee ensued involving players and fans.
Knicks-Nuggets brawl - On December 16, 2006, a fight broke out between the New York Knicks and the Denver Nuggets after Knicks player Mardy Collins fouled Nuggets player J.R. Smith. The fight resulted in several ejections and suspensions.
Suns-Spurs brawl - In a 2007 playoff game between the Phoenix Suns and San Antonio Spurs, several players got into a fight after Spurs player Robert Horry hip-checked Suns player Steve Nash into the scorer's table.
Shaq vs. Brad Miller - In a 2002 playoff game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Sacramento Kings, Shaquille O'Neal and Brad Miller got into a physical altercation that resulted in both players being ejected.
Knicks-Heat brawl - On December 9, 1997, a fight broke out between the New York Knicks and Miami Heat, which resulted in several players being ejected and suspended.
