During the Los Angeles Lakers' win over the Dallas Mavericks on February 26, LeBron James suffered a severe injury to his right foot, preventing him from moving properly as he exited the American Airlines Center.

"LeBron James has been evaluated by team physicians and medical staff, and it has been determined that he has suffered a right foot tendon injury. James will be re-evaluated in approximately three weeks," says Shams Charania.

The Lakers have a 6-10 record without LeBron on the court this season. A record that they will have to improve in the coming games if they want to stay alive in their bid to make the playoffs without putting the physical condition of their top star at greater risk
